CLASS DESCRIPTION

The Art of Play-Mixed Media

Discover mixed media, learn the techniques, using acrylic, collage, and water based media.  You will be starting a series on a small scale using 6”x 6”boards supplied by Leona. Unleash your creative side and discover how mixed media can enhance your work, no matter what your preferred subject is.

SUPPLIES TO BRING

Boards will be supplied by instructor

• Makeup sponge,
• Stencils
• Old Credit cards
• Markers
• Baby wipes
• Collage Material-they can be photocopies, newsprint, napkins, magazines. If you have old books, maps, postage stamps, different papers or something special, bring it along.
• Acrylic paints (colour suggestions any brand is acceptable):
• White
• Black
• yellow 
• Red
• Blue
• Gloss Medium
• A couple of small paint brushed.
• Palette
• Blue Shop-paper towels
• Water Container
