ABOUT SAPG

The St. Albert Painters’ Guild was incorporated under the Society Act in 1987 to meet the growing needs of the Visual Arts community. It is dedicated to assisting all artists, regardless of experience level.

OUR VISION

Celebrate, inspire, support and promote members.

OUR MISSION
  1. Create volunteer opportunities to expand our knowledge, meet other members and support our Guild.
  2. Provide workshops and open studio to support and Inspire members.
  3. Celebrate and promote our members through art shows and other marketing opportunities.
  4. Provide access to art resources through the SAPG library.
  5. Create opportunities for personal connection to inspire and support our members through social gatherings.

WHAT WE DO

Through continuous monitoring of progress in these areas, we hope to further develop understanding, expand knowledge and encourage member participation.

Exhibitions – Fall and Spring Shows, Art in the Open, and several local business venues (coordinated by Painters Guild) as well as the Country Craft Fair (coordinated by SAPVAC).

Communication – Events, Facebook, Instagram, publicity and website.

Community Engagement - Interact with the community in ways to promote and stimulate the arts.

Education – Enrichment, workshops., critiques, and library materials.
