Artist Biography

Born in Regina, I moved to Edmonton where I received my M.Ed. (1989) and Visual Arts Certificate (2017) from the University of Alberta. My multimedia works are inspired by abstract and surrealist artists, particularly: Picasso, Riopelle, Miro, and Goodwin. I am fascinated by the intuitive, playful and expressive use of form and color represented in my subject matter.

Artist Statement

Interested in exploring multi-media abstract expressionist work. I would also do commissioned art work for clients who want specific colors, designs and various sizes of paintings.

Art Instruction Experience

I enjoy teaching art and art appreciation to elementary students.
